Influencing It Is

Achal Patel - Intern at The Financial Doctors

It is true what they say about different people influencing you even so, that you change yourself. Not only they change you, they even change your interests. Not only do you start liking those things, you start to love them. You cannot step away from it. You want to hold it like cinderella and never let it go. The same for me was financial markets and finance related stuff. I was influenced from my sister who is a post-grad in MBA in Finance and my father who is an investor in his free time.

Seeing them, observing them, watch them do finance stuff and thingies, I thought what is it that they do, talk about? I started reading about that stuff. I started taking MOOCs as well. The latter was beautiful. I fell in love with it.

I started understanding it deeply and wanted to pursue my career towards it. Being a student from engineering background, the only option to change my field was to turn towards MBA. Also being from an engineering background no one was ready to offer me an internship in stock market related stuff. Then comes THE FINANCIAL DOCTORS. I saw the e-mail in the morning and was amazed. I was too excited for this internship. So here I am, pursuing what I love. And I guess this would prove to be the changing corner of my life!
