Riddhi Kansal - Intern at The Financial Doctors

The urge to explore the world, learn about different disciplines, discover my own self, and have knowledge of the possible, motivates me to research and grab as much as possible. Like any other student, I was searching for those bright lights that would brighten up my interests and would make me walk an extra mile to pursue what I really want.

Originally from the science background, I wanted to test my interest in the field of finance. Being an ISC scholar I had a decent knowledge of economics, which acted as a key source of motivation to take up the same as a minor subject in my college. Numbers and graphs had always fascinated me from the very beginning, and so I decided to continue my under-graduation Maths, although being a student of Maths Honours made me realise that it’s a hideous lie. So, I applied for the internship with “The Financial Doctors”, to exploit the field of finance.

The picture of that messed up pattern still stands glassy in my mind. Making me more excited, but also a bit nervous at the same time. Excited to enslave it in the best way possible, and nervous to see people around me having a vast knowledge of it already. As the time passed by, I attended the sessions with rapt attention and slowly and steadily, took up the pace. Not exaggerating, but days turned into nights, with me only moving to switch on (or off) the charger of my laptop. Today, almost after a month, I am at a position, where I can build my own strategies, interpret different graphs, build up structures in it etc etc.

The field of finance, contrary to what most of us think, has endless opportunities to exploit. It’s like a vast ocean, waiting for a sailor to discover it’s deepest secrets. I would highly advise all the sailors to try to untwine its transparent cover in the most creative way possible. All of us are gifted with different minds, waiting to be utilized in the best way possible.

I am highly thankful to my mentor “Mr Vishwa Kalra” who always stood beside me less like a teacher but more like a friend. He was always ready to clear all the silly and foolish doubts I had, always motivating to strive harder and try better. He is a true example of a motivational guide.

Lastly, I would highly recommend to all the readers out there, to intern with “The Financial Doctors” to get a wide and most impressive knowledge of trading in a most comprehensive manner. Besides this, it will groom your overall personality and sharpen your skills thereby eliminating false notions about the market which almost each one of us have been gifted for free by the media.
